There is a new viral challenge from Sharjah to the World that is placing #loveoverfear.

The current global pandemic has shown us how interconnected we are in more ways than we can imagine, and it has brought us to a critical moment in our humanity where we have to make a choice of how we move forward, and the only way to move forward is by embracing Ubuntu.

Ubuntu is a way of seeing the world that teaches us that "I am because we are".

It is a belief that helps us to realise that the only way each of us will thrive individually is by understanding that we are all part of one humanity. Each of our induvial thoughts and actions have an impact on the whole.

The #UbuntuLoveChallenge has taken off with world-famous entertainers, business leaders and everyone in between!

But it started right here in Sharjah, spearheaded by global thought leaders Sheikha Bodour Al Qasimi and the founder of the Africa 2.0 Foundation, and the man named to Forbes’ most influential people list of 2014, Mamadou Kwidjim Toure. Sally speaks to them both about how and why they came up with this challenge, and the incredible impact it has already had in its early days.
