The rest of the sermon based on John 15:1-11 gives two more results of abiding in the vine of Jesus Christ. First, those who abide in Jesus will have their desires transformed to align with God's will, meaning their prayers will reflect sanctified desires that advance His mission. Lastly, joy is the ultimate result of this abiding relationship, as Jesus imparts His own joy to believers both now and into eternity.
