The first episode of The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live aired on AMC this past Sunday, and it did NOT disappoint. TWD is back in full force with the highly anticipated (and long-awaited) return of Andrew Lincoln's Rick Grimes to the world of The Walking Dead. At it's core, this first episode (which felt more like a feature film rather than a TV pilot) is a story of grit, determination, and brokenness; a longing for what you cannot have. This is a tale of mental health and emotional intensity that happens to take place within the horrors of the zombie apocalypse. The CRM is bigger and more immense that we ever could have imagined, and it looks like after the remaining five episodes of this series, The Walking Dead Universe will never be the same again.
