The Amnesty International Podcast is a hosted show featuring recent Amnesty International news stories, reports, campaigns and events. This podcast is themed on the so called 'War on Terror' and human rights. It covers the implications around the international protection of Guantanamo detainees, focusing on encouraging European countries to accept Guantanamo Bay detainees that cannot return to their countries of origin. Includes interviews with Sharon Critoph, Amnesty International US Campaigner and Polly Rossdale from Reprieve. There is also a short synopsis by Lamri Chirouf our Yemen researcher on the present human rights situation in Yemen. The Podcast ends with and interview with Sam Zarifi Amnesty International Afghanistan specialist outside the Afghan conference in London on the 26th of January 2010. He talks about how the international community should work with the Afghan government.
