Surrender to Peace

A lot of music has been written about the act of surrender – to love, to inevitability but it can also mean giving in to force or oppression. Surrender can be a positive choice. Reconciliation in a conflict or argument can lead to resolution and peace. It can also mean letting go of control and accepting things beyond one's power, which can be a source of relief and personal growth.

But surrender can also be a very negative experience when it means giving up your principles, rights, or values in the face of oppression.
