After what happened to George Floyd, majority of Minnesota's city council announces its support for dismantling the local police department. The Minneapolis mayor is against the abolishment of the police department. Floyd's death sparks global protests against police brutality. The New York City mayor says he will shift funding from police departments to social programs. Trump says, "there won't be defunding, dismantling for our police... 99 percent percent of them are great great people." The White House defends violent dispersal of peaceful protesters. White House officials say, "The president is very much against kneeling." According to a CNN poll, 57 percent of people disapprove of how Trump is handling his job. Campaign says that Biden doesn't support defunding police. Democrats unveil policing and systematic racism legislation.   

The 14th day of protests are underway after the killing of George Floyd. The Texas govern says Floyd's death will change the arc of the future in the United States. Former Vice President Joe Biden meets with members of George Floyd's family before Floyd's Houston funeral. 

Bail has been set at the maximum of $1.2 million for the ex-officer who knelt and George Floyd. 

Trump's re-election campaign set to re-launch in person campaign rallies in next two weeks.
