Through Pain Comes Strength

Pain is inevitable, yet us humans have a hard time processing and understanding our own pain. When life becomes too overwhelming, it’s important to find healthy ways to stay grounded, present, and in -tune with your own emotions. We’re constantly told to always look on the bright side, push through the pain, be happy, and ignore negativity. But, sometimes, we need to learn to sit through the hurricane rather than find ways to go around it. It’s important and necessary to sit through that pain, to sit through those negative, suffocating emotions in order to gain a better perspective and emerge a stronger person. In this episode, I talk about some struggles I’m currently dealing with and how I’m learning to invite more grace and compassion into my own journey towards understanding myself and my pain just a little bit better.
