Various measures were in place at railway stations and on highways around the city to ensure traffic was smooth. A record number of people were departing and arriving between 11 am and noon today at Shanghai Railway Station. Both figures surpassed 10,000. More than 50 police officers, quadruple the usual number, were at the station to keep people moving. More than 650,000 passengers were expected to arrive in Shanghai by train today, with about 60 percent of them passing through Hongqiao Railway Station.今天（05/03）上午11点到中午12点期间，上海站发送和到达的旅客量创下新高，首次双双破万。为了应对大客流，属地派出所50多位民警上岗，人数是平时的4倍。预计到达旅客超过65万人次，其中约60%从虹桥火车站下车。

Highway traffic was mostly smooth and orderly today as many people had already returned to the city to avoid the rush. Traffic increased notably【显著地】 on the G2, G50 and G60 expressways around 2 pm. 2.5.2-MAGNITUDE EARTHQUAKE STRIKES YUNNAN PROVINCE云南保山深夜突发5.2级地震，抗震救灾工作有序开展A 5.2-magnitude【级】 earthquake hit Baoshan City in Yunnan Province late last night. Ten people sustained minor injuries.昨天（05/02）深夜，云南省保山市发生5.2级地震，截至5月3日13时已造成10人轻伤。

The China Earthquake Networks Center said the epicenter was at 25.35 degrees north latitude and 99.28 degrees east longitude, with a depth of 10 kilometers. Tremors were felt in the cities of Dali, Lincang, Chuxiong and Mangshi. Authorities have activated a level-3 emergency response and rushed rescue teams to the area. A deputy mayor of Baoshan said the earthquake caused varying degrees of damage to homes and utilities【公共事业】. Transportation, communication and other infrastructure were also damaged. The deputy mayor added that more than 2,400 people had been sent to the disaster area for search and rescue operations.  3.TESLA RAISES PRICES OF MODEL 3, MODEL Y特斯拉宣布Model 3/Y全系上涨2000元Tesla announced a price hike on several car models in markets including China, the United States, Canada, and Japan.特斯拉昨天（05/02）宣布，将在中国、美国、加拿大、日本等市场提高多款车型的售价。

According to the company's official statement, the Model 3 and Model Y will cost an extra 2,000 yuan each. The price of a Model 3 now starts at 231 thousand 900 yuan, while an entry-level Model Y costs 263 thousand 900 yuan. Analysts also forecast fluctuating【波动的】 prices on Tesla cars in the future as it purchased lithium【锂】, which is used in its batteries, at high prices last year.
