1.TOP DOCTOR PREDICTS SECONDCOVID WAVE TO PEAK IN LATE JUNE钟南山最新研判：6月底或迎新冠疫情第二波高峰Top respiratory【呼吸的】 disease expert Zhong Nanshan predicted the second peak of COVID-19 is likely to occur at the end of June with about 65 million people nationwide estimated to be infected in a week.著名呼吸病学专家钟南山预测，新冠第二波感染高峰可能在6月底到来，届时每周约会有6500万人被感染。

He said two vaccines targeting XBB subvariants have been initially approved, and will be released to the market soon. Images of a herd【群】 of 18 wild Asian elephants were captured by a drone camera at the junction of Pu'er's Jiangcheng County and Simao District. At around 6 pm, the elephants entered a cornfield and ate some of the crops.在普洱市江城县和思茅区交界处，一架无人机拍摄到18头野生亚洲象群的图像。下午6点左右，象群来到附近一片玉米地里，饱餐了一顿。

The populations of other endangered species, including elks, wild horses, and crested ibises have stabilized. More than 30% of China's land area is protected.
