Section b'haalotechah (Numbers 8:1-12:16)
Today we are in b'haalotechah (Numbers 8:1-12:16) God is showing the difference between community surrounded by life and light and a community surrounded by death and darkness. The Israelites complain about no meat! (I completely understand) and God sends them a plague. Miriam doesn't like Moses choice of wife and God strikes her with leprosy. Lots of drama, even back then!
