Tormentors – Forever Free From Fear

1. Fear Brings Bondage

Rom 8:15 you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry Abba, Father”

2 Tim 1:7 “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

1 Jn 4:18 there is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear,because fear brings torment.

Heb 2:14-15 through death Jesus destroyed him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, 15 and release those who through fear were all their lifetime subject to bondage

God needs our faith in order to manifest his promises in our lives Satan needs our fear to operate the curse in our lives

Wherever we walk in fear, we put ourselves in bondage to the things we are afraid of, and they can literally begin to control us, now were not being led by the spirit of God but by the spirit of fear

Rom 8:14 those led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

Jn 10:10 the Devil comes to steal, kill, and destroy. Jesus comes to give life, and life more abundantly.

Jn 8:35 Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.

2. Cast all your Fear, Worry and Care on Jesus Today

2 Cor 11:28 besides these things, the cares that comes upon me daily

1 Pet 5:5 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. 8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 9 Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. 10 But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.

Cares – Concerns, distraction, anxieties, burdens and worries

Commit – To roll, roll down, roll away, remove, it pictures the camel burdened with a heavy load and unloading it by allowing it slide off

Ps 37:5 commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass.

Is 54:4 “Do not fear, for you will not be ashamed; Neither be disgraced,for you will not be put to shame; you will forget the shame of your past

Jn 14:27 “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

Ps 27:1 “The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear?The LORD is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?”
