Sermon Title: Trade-Away Your Sorrows, Not Your Legacy!
Lead Scripture: Hebrews 12:16-17 (MSG)
Today, Pastor Femi Paul cautioned against trading our legacy for temporary satisfaction, using Esau's story as a warning. Esau traded his birthright for a moment of gratification, which he deeply regretted later. PFP defined legacy as our inheritance, birthright, and patrimonial gift—something we must protect.
He emphasized the danger of hasty decisions driven by perceived or real needs, which can lead to rash judgments. He warned the congregation to resist the pressure of acting without prayerful deliberation, urging us to keep calm and avoid rash actions, as seen in Acts 19:36B (AMPC).
