Hello, my name is Ace Morgan. Welcome to ​Move Better, Feel Great​.  I am a transgender man. I created this podcast for transgender and non-binary communities. Alies welcome. I have been in the gym since 1983 and a personal trainer since 2005. I have not found enough resources for the trans/non-binary community that focus specifically on our health and fitness ​from ​a trans perspective.  As a personal trainer over the years, I have collected a lot of data and found a shared experience with trans and non-binary communities--a shared, collective trauma--whether that is being teased and bullied or just not seen.  Reflecting the trans and non-binary community by sharing my personal story and experiences, as well as those of other practitioners and healers, we can build the spaces to heal, get stronger, build self-esteem and live longer.  I grew up in the DIY punk scene in the 80s and 90s: if you don’t see it, create it. Make it happen. There are so many layers to unpeel to get to this stuff, to get to the mind-muscle connection.  I am looking to create a supportive community for people to get grounded, move their bodies, focus on self-care and on themselves. Hearing stories we can relate to can be so healing, and less lonely.  I will be doing interviews, fitness tips,, taking you through workouts and so much more.  Please join me in creating a community where trans and non-binary folks can reflect each other, heal and collectively design new spaces to thrive.
