Trinity “The Tuck” Taylor steps Behind The Rope. We are not worthy. Checking in from her home in Orlando, Florida, Trinity stops by to chat about all that she has been up to since we last saw her on our TV screens on RuPaul’s Drag Race (Season 9, All Stars Season 4). Originally from a small town outside Birmingham, Alabama, Trinity entered a drag competition at a local bar when she found out you could win money. She entered and lost. After two more tries she won the competition, kept winning week after week and was eventually asked to not enter in order to give others a chance to win. Self taught hair, makeup, clothes, Trinity took to drag like a moth to a flame. Trinity discusses the biggest misconceptions and best things about the profession, the path one takes to make a career out of drag and the business side of it all. Flash forward to RuPaul's Drag Race Season 9 where Trinity found herself a contestant in the most coveted of all races. Trinity discusses filming, the competitions, the lip synchs and other behind the scenes tidbits from being a Drag Race contestant. We also discuss fellow contestants such as Sasha Velour, Peppermint, and Shea Coulee. Of course we also discuss RuPaul, what meeting RuPaul like for the first time was like and the differences between the RuPaul we see on camera versus the man behind the drag. Trinity dishes on those other Drag Race Judges Carson Kressley, Michelle Visage and Ross Matthews. Finally, we discuss some of Drag Race’s infamous Guests Judges such as Lady Gaga and Meghan Trainor. Oh yea, there is also that thing that happened, she won All Stars Season Four. We discuss what that was like, did she ever expect it, and what was it like to share the title with Monet X. Change.
