Welcome to the pod former progressive politics worker, current strategic communications professional with more than a decade of experience working in media, podcasts, and public affairs, 13 time marathoner and 6 time triathlon-er, Meggan Ellingboe!
Meggan is a strategic communications professional with more than a decade of experience working in media, podcasts, and public affairs. She has worked with independent creators and clients such as Wondery, Group Nine, Earios, and Stitcher. She’s directed public relations for media networks PRX and American Public Media Group (APM).
Prior to working in media, Meggan worked in progressive politics. She worked for U.S. Senator Paul Wellstone whose oft-quoted line, “We all do better when we all do better,” continues to ground her work.
Meggan currently lives in Los Angeles. She grew up outside of Minneapolis, MN. As a Korean-adoptee, she is passionate about representation in media and politics.
Outside of work, Meggan is a yoga instructor who started The Yoga Garage, a summer outdoor yoga community. She’s also completed 13 marathons and 6 triathlons. Meggan enjoys live music and dance performances.
