From the outside looking in, it appeared that Shawn Huber had it made. However, everything wasn't as solid as he thought it was.  One day he went under the knife for a routine surgery and when he woke up in the hospital bed, the surgeon broke the news that he had Stage 3C testicular cancer, which meant that had the cancer been caught much later he would have reached the Stage 4 death sentence.  He knew that his best chance of survival was to ignite a positive mindset and attitude and ultimately believe that he was going to survive and be healthier than he had ever been in his life.
The events that followed his cancer diagnosis were not picturesque... Chemotherapy. Divorce. Moved in with his parents. Lost his personal training company. 
The challenge of what seemed impossible became possible, and ultimately his reality.
 Soon after he came out on the other side of so much adversity he became Fitness Director of one of the fastest growing gyms in the Carolinas, met his wife and now business partner, purchased a new home and in 2010, he and his wife welcomed their daughter into the world...the daughter he was told in 2002 he'd never, ever have as a result of testicular cancer.
All of this drove him to create a system to help people develop a positive mindset that will promote a healthier body ultimately creating a  more happy and fulfilling life.
As a result of 22 years in the health, wellness and fitness industries, Structured Freedom was born for the purpose of helping the average person take a life of mediocrity and step up their game to turn their dreams into a reality.  His signature system, Temple Transformation, incorporates common sense practices and simplified systems that take out the confusion of what health and wellness really is.

In 2016 Mark founded Drug and Alcohol Attorneys (http://drugandalcoholattorneys.com) a law firm dedicated to empowering and representing families and individuals who are in crisis because of drug, alcohol and mental health disorders. Many times, individuals or families come to Mark because they have a friend or loved one who either refuses to go into treatment, or will not stay in treatment. When this is the case, Mark’s team helps them navigate through the complexities of the Marchman Act process, Florida’s involuntary commitment statute for drug, alcohol and co-occurring mental health disorders. When a family needs to regain control over medical decisions and finances, Mark’s team assists them to file an Emergency Temporary Guardianship (ETG) so that an individual who is no longer competent to make medical decisions for themselves can have that burden taken off their shoulders. Other times when an individual has been arrested for a criminal offense that stems from drug addiction or a mental health disorder, Mark’s team can help to put in place a plan of action to not only get the person into recovery, but help them stay out of prison. When he’s not working in his law practice, Mark empowers members of the community by teaching Krav Maga (the Israeli system of hand to hand taught to the military, special forces and anti-terror units). He also enjoys an early morning work out believing that a healthy body leads to a healthy mind.
