A female-led sci-fi comedy sitcom set in the far future, in a high-tech, dystopian world, We Fix Space Junk draws on the sci-fi of the past, following in the footsteps of Harry Harrison and of Douglas Adams' Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
Equal parts love-letter to sci-fi and satire of the present-day, Space Junk is lovingly produced by Beth Crane and Hedley Knights of Battle Bird Productions.

We were there for early script readings (and you're going to hear Beth's voice in a later episode, although not, perhaps, in a way you've ever heard it before). Camlann is a post-apocalyptic urban fantasy podcast inspired by folklore and Arthurian legends. It's written and directed by Ella Watts (Doctor Who: Redacted, Eliza: A Robot Story), and produced by Amber Devereux at Tin Can Audio (The Tower, Folxlore), with production management from Ross McFarlane (Folxlore). It’s called Desert Skies, and it takes place in the Desert Skies Astral Plane Fuel and Service Station. The staff of Desert Skies fix cars and get snacks for travellers on their final astral journey; the journey from this life to the next.
We listened to episode one this week and really enjoyed it. The concept is really fun and well-written and the end of the episode has a real emotional punch to it.

So! First and most importantly, we’re hard at work on Season 4 — we’ve recorded Kilner, Samantha and DAX alongside some of our guest stars and we’ve got lots of recordings scheduled! We're working with some really fun people this season!
Next step after recording is dialogue editing, then sound design, music composition and mixing and mastering! So we're going to be really busy for a while, but in the end it'll all be worth it!
