It's taking us a bit longer than I anticipated to get together and record a regular episode. Speed Freak Read/Speak, our patreon series about Sonic the Hedgehog comics, finally reached 5 episodes after a long hiatus. To celebrate, here is the first episode for free!

"On Toni's episode of the Doughbrain Book Club review of Willie Wilden, we briefly discussed the possibility of recording podcast episodes about issues of the Archie Comics Sonic the Hedgehog series. Well, we did it. For the first episode, we cover issue #1 of the ongoing series, published in July 1993. Next time we do this, we'll go backwards and cover the miniseries that preceded #1.
