Perfectionism is defined as a combination of excessively high personal standards and overly critical self-evaluations, and it’s an incredibly toxic trait. It’s different from high achieving. Instead of being something that motivates us to shoot higher, it can keep us feeling constantly defeated, and like we’re falling short. We’re going to talk about what contributes to a sense of perfectionism, its three facets, and how to “unperfect” yourself.
