Veil is the changling assassin who was traveling with Arannis and Darvin when they were charged with killing the god of chaos to save Arannis' soul. He went missing during the battle and was believed to be trapped in the realm of the dead. Isra can't journey into the realm herself, but she was able to find a way to reach through and speak with realm. When fighting for your life, it is important to remember who you are and what you are fighting for.
