9News announced on Friday that veteran journalist Joel Dry will join Melissa Downes each night to bring Queenslanders the most comprehensive news coverage.
Joel Dry told Peter Fegan on 4BC Breakfast, "It's a great honour to follow in the footsteps of a great man."
