2999: Do This First Thing in the Morning (MM)

Thank you for joining us for our 2nd Cabral HouseCall of the weekend! I’m looking forward to sharing with you some of our community’s questions that have come in over the past few weeks…   Cara: I am a holistic nutritionist and I have a 12 year old client who started eating paper 5 years ago. I wanted to see what are the underlying causes of this which I believe is called PICA. She seems like she is on the autism spectrum so I am running a heavy metal test in her blood right now and would like to run a HTMA too. Anything else that you would suggest?   Isabella: Dear Dr. Cabral I don't mean to sound ungrateful but I as an Ayubowan member I was wondering if you could give an update on the plans for Ayubowan. I remember something about monthly Q & A with you, masterclasses with celebrity chef, mental health and binural beats expert etc. I have been a member from the start, but I seem to have missed the masterclasses. Can I find them somewhere so I can see or listen to them now? Thank you so much for a great podcast and products :-)   Bettina: Dear Dr. Cabral. I am sometimes experiencing pain when eating. It feels like air is trapped in my throat and I get pain in my chest and back. When really bad I feel the pain even in my arms. I remember I was about 10 years old the first time I experienced this. I ate cold pancakes and enjoyed them so much that I forgot to chew the food enough. I do often experience this pain when eating something I really like but I am very attentive to chew my food now. Due to surgery I had to swallow a lot of pills and I got so much pain in my back, chest and arms that I just couldn't stand it. The pain stayed for about 30 minutes and was awful. I think it is esophagus spasm but I am not sure. Again, I feel like air og something is too big and trapped in my throat and gives so much back pain.   Lara: Hi, dr. C.. hope youâ're well and your family as well (Bacci included).. I've heard many times but not sure if this is true.. do Zinc and Magnesium absorb better if taken together? And if I take them after dinner along with an Omega3 oil is it ok to take Ashwaganda at the same time? Which supplements can be taken together and which apart? Thank you for your help and knowledge, lots of love to everyone and happy healing   Jennifer: Hi Dr Cabral, 2 questions...I clean an office building as a living. My shift are anywhere from 4-8 hours. I don't want to use Bluetooth headphones but I know it's not great to have my phone on my person either. Could you tell me the LEAST toxic way to listen to music & podcasts while working, that won't disturb others working around me? My boss has been very generous letting me use a non toxic cleaner of my choice, but there are still a few areas in the building where I am asked to use their toxic cleaners. Is there any way to detox my lungs at the end of a shift to protect myself from any product I might inhale? I already always use gloves when using these products to protect my skin. They add salt and electrodes to the water. After 30 mins the water is a nasty brownish color which must be the toxins being pulled from the body. Is this legit? And how does this work? Thanks   Grethen: Any information on what causes this or a natural treatment for Mayâ Thurner syndrome.   Stephanie: Hi Dr. Cabral! I had a question about how you find all new and recent research studies. I am a registered nurse looking into getting into nurse research and focus in functional medicine. I have been following you for years and have learned so much from your wisdom. Almost every podcast it seems you have a new and very recent research study (esp on Friday review shows) and wondering if you look up new studies every day or if you have some system or alerts you use that notifies you of new research studies that might interest you? If so, what are the major research databases do you use? Thank you for your passion in this field, you have taught me so much and canâ€™t wait to start IHP in the future.   Kay: Hi Dr. Cabral, I would like to thank you and your team for everything you and your team,. Jan/24 did the big 5 to figure out the root cause of Psoriasis, Bloating/gas and prep pre-pregnancy. We flagged: - Mercury/aluminum, Candida Overgrowth, High Oxalic Acid High Cortisol, Low DHEA I ran the 21 detox (psoriasis 95% gone, Auto immune markers gone bloodwork) I started Heavy Metal detox/IC & estrogen balance/ultimate sleep --> full CBO + daily sauna/destress protocol. Questions: Is there any downside to adding mastic gum for gas/bloating to the CBO protocol (I cannot stool test international)? How can we support sleep during pregnancy/breastfeeding .
