Pastor Phil Hamilton continues our "On the Road Series" with his message "Walking the road with Jesus" Phil reflects from Mark 10. As the disciples were grappling with Jesus speaking of His death we can only wonder at their emotional state. They were astonished by the peace and even the joy of Christ as He spoke of His own torture and death. It's in this we see what it means to abide. As Christ abides with the Father there is joy, no matter the circumstances. As we abide in Christ there is joy, as we attach ourselves to Christ there is peace.
