Beginnning was so GOOD!

I passed on this book several times. But the reviewers convinced me. I love a funny love story. This one started so good. Very funny, Great characters. The dialog was really good. I'm on the fence with the narrator. I think I maybe getting too picky. She has a great voice. I just can't figure out how she gets it so breathy..and extends the ending of words. It is annoying, but it was not a deal breaker. I didn't think I would eeeevvvvveeeerrrr finish this book it became completely different, the characters changed about a 180....and I couldn't enjoy the change. In my opinion this book could of been memorable.

What disappointed you about Wallbanger?

I expected more given the reviews. It was an OK listen. While yes there were some very funny moments, most of the book was boring. I was tired of hearing about her lack of "O" yes we got it, we got the memo several times. We get it, you can't have an organism. By the end I didn't care about either character. The last hour was literally a headache of continuous oh my god, I'm so totally awesome, i'm having a trillion back-to-back orgasms.

What was most disappointing about Alice Claytons story?

The narrator did not add to this story.

No major reactions - I just didn't like it as much as others.

This book should have been a short 4 to 5 hour read. I was pulling my hair out towards the end becase the author would not let the story end....

the beginning was great but then the story moves slowly forward from there on at the same time as the characters advance very quickly and become committed to one another without much commitment or persuasion from the other. Ok listen/read however the story leaves much to be desired.
