Sent to Alice Springs convent at the age of 5, Wayne talks about how the days in the convent as a young child shaped some of the characteristics he has today and carried through his youth around the rodeo scene and bars. Saddling up on his first Bronc a little younger than 15 years of age, Wayne got the itch for the saddle. Setting off to Drove Cattle a few short years later after deciding school wasn't for him, he talks about some of the hardest days on the road.

Our Final conversation for the season is one that needs to be had. Real and raw conversations seem to be the theme of the season, and something that we feel society needs more of. As Brett Pechey opens up, it’s obvious the heartache and despair in his voice about his personal experience with mental health and suicide. We acknowledge how hard this is for Brett to share and for some to hear.
But the hard conversations are always worth having.
They help create awareness, break the cycle and remind us that help and support surrounds us.
