“Just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.” John 13:34

We are called to love one another, despite the struggles, pain, hurt or behaviors they exhibit. As Christians especially I know it’s our calling to LOVE over Condemn. Jesus loved us unconditionally and calls us to do the same. 
Love flows from God to us and through us flows to others. 
Forgiveness follows the same path - from God to Us and then to others.

If we are to be forgiven of our sins or we must forgive others. 
On my final day, I pray that people remember the blessings and positive legacy of my life and not my shortcomings and sins.

Today’s podcast was spurred by an IG message I got yesterday after the passing of Basketball Legend Kobe Bryant and it stayed with me in my heart and mind so I knew it had to be talked about on the show today.

I talk about how we are called to LOVE but also what it means to forgive. Whether it’s a legendary star or someone in your personal life, we are meant to love everyone.

Forgiveness is not: 
- letting people off the hook
- Waiting for an apology or admission 
- forgiving is not the same as forgetting. 


Forgiveness IS: 
- not optional. 
- not an event, but a process 
- not earned, but gifted
- becoming aware is the first step.
