Everyone wants a squad, right? A group we can belong to? Of course we do! That's how God designed us — and God designed the Church to help meet that need. When some people hear the word "church," they might think of a building, preacher, or event, but it's so much more than that. The Church is supposed to be a community. A family. When the Church first began 2,000 years ago, the earliest Jesus-followers needed help figuring out how to act like God's family, so a guy named Paul wrote a letter that we now call the book of Ephesians. In the first chapter, Paul tells us this: the Church is God's family, but it's not exclusive. We can all be part of God’s family. Everyone is invited to join, and that's good news! So if you don't belong to God's family yet, you're invited! And if you do, are you helping others know they belong too?
