Lordstown Motors (LEX, RIDE) and BlackRock (BLK) have had a short intense relationship which ended badly. One could ascribe pure business / finance reasons for the calamitous end of the relationship, but there are other dynamics as well. It may be important to note that April 21 2023 (Reuters) - BlackRock Inc (BLK.N) Chief Executive Officer Larry Fink sold nearly 7% of his stake in the asset management giant, netting proceeds of about $25 million.
