I’m sure you are asking yourselves all throughout these series of studies of Revelation 6, ‘Why would Jesus Christ give permission to the four horsemen, allowing them to not only judge the world, but also to harm His own people in the process of Judgment? Because the work of the four horsemen affects not only sinners who know not God and Jesus Christ, but also Jews and Christians as well?

Seeing the Horseman of Deceptions, has the power to deceive the world with lies and misinformation, but also affects Jews and Christians away from Christ. The Horseman of War having power to influence the world to war, while influencing Jews and Christians into apostasy to betray, and hate one another. While the Horsemen of Death having power to influence the world, is also influencing Christians and Jews having the potential to betray and kill one another.

All these seem to work against God and His salvation plan. So why would Jesus Christ give permission to the four horsemen, allowing them to not only judge the world, but also to harm His own people in the process of Judgment?

The answer to this question is very simple and most Christians don’t think about what God is really doing behind the scenes in the spirit realm.

First of all, a lot of Christians around the world, especially in America have backslid away from Biblical conviction. From Biblical standards of living, of faith, and relationship with Father God, of Jesus Christ and of the Holy Ghost (The Spirit of God). And the Lord says,

John 10:27-30 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand. My Father, which gave them Me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of My Father’s hand. I and My Father are one.

What He’s saying is, He’s not willing for His sheep to go astray for long if we do go astray. And because we are His, He’s going to do everything in His power to awaken all humanity to get right with God and stay right with God without infringing on the gift He has given all humanity, and that is “free will!” The freedom to choose God’s way or your own way. The Narrow way (God’s standards of living), or the broad way of sin and spiritual death. Which all boils down to your choice in this life where you will be in all eternity… Heaven or Hell.

So God is causing a spiritual shakening to occur in the world today using the four horsemen to disturb, to trouble people awake using the events we see in Revelation 6. Because in order for there to be an awakening of the slumbering church body, there has to be first a shakening. And Revelation 6 is God’s work of shaking (both Christians and sinners) awake unto salvation. Parts of the Body of Christ are asleep as Jesus Christ has shown us ahead of time would happen in,

Matthew 25:1-13 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.

And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

And He wants all His church body to be ready and enter paradise when the Bridegroom (Jesus Christ) appears to take His church away out of this earth called the rapture. And what do you do when your hand, arm or leg is asleep? You shake it awake in order for the blood to circulate through those parts of the body that fell asleep.

That’s what God Most High and His only begotten Son (Jesus Christ are doing) in Revelation 6 today. Spiritually shaking backsliders awake unto salvation and minister His gospel, and sinners to repentance before the rapture of church age happens. How else are sinners saved if there are no preachers to explain who Jesus Christ is, why He died on the cross, His resurrection and ascension and His invitation to Salvation since parts of the church body of Christ are spiritually asleep?

Romans 10:8-17 (reveals God’s process of how people are saved) But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon Him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent?

as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Jude who spoke by the anointing and direction of the Holy Ghost commanded Christians when they preach (explain) the Gospel of Jesus Christ in all the world using compassion on some to make a difference. For God’s goodness leads us to repentance (Romans 2:4). And to others who do not respond to the Gospel of Jesus Christ by compassion, save with fear, pulling people out of the fire (of Hell), by telling people the truth from God’s Holy Bible (Jude 20-23).

Nevertheless, how can the church body of Christ heed that instruction by the direction of the Holy Ghost of God in preaching the gospel as a whole, if parts of the body of Christ are either in apostate sinning conditions or asleep? This is the very reason why all these things are occurring today, because Gods’ will is for none to perish, but that all come to repentance unto salvation in Jesus Christ, because there is no other way to Heaven

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Now the Book of Revelation mentions a few shakings that will occur in the great tribulation period both the heavens and earth. And most of the shakings that’s mentioned are physically disastrous, per effects of God’s escalating intensity of Judgment. But we need to focus on (in this study) the spiritual shakening that occurs first before the physical shaking happens.

Hebrews 12:25-27 See that ye refuse not Him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused Him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from Him that speaketh from heaven: Whose voice then shook the earth: but now He hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

And since we see that He is able to shake the heavens and the earth with just a voice, we also know that He is more than able to shake men’s souls to an awakening on a spiritual level as well. He knows how to get everyone’s attention, in a way all can understand individually.

Take for example: Pharaoh of Egypt thousands of years ago. God gave him a dream that shook the core of his soul to action. Using Joseph to save the known world then and the Hebrews from starvation. Who were least in number compared to all the kingdoms of the world then. To give God’s people a future and a hope (Genesis 41-42).

God also answered Nebuchadnezzar’s question and his self-pride through dreams and by a personal word from God through His prophet Daniel that troubled His soul and led him to repentance after the judgment of God happened unto the King. After all that, Nebuchadnezzar knew the One true God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob all the rest of his life before he died (Daniel 1-4).

Or how-about ten days after the ascension of Jesus Christ, did He baptized all His disciple with the Holy Spirit of God, giving them power from on high to preach His Gospel in all sorts of languages of the world, coupled with sign; wonders and miracles to bring sinners to salvation (The Book of Acts).

Whom God also inspired the same holiness ministers who preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ into all the world, to write all the signs and wonders that we see is happening today two thousand years, warning us to get right with God and ready for the sudden appearance of Christ what is known as the rapture. And what is to come after that. And God still appoints and anoints His ministers to preach the infallible word of God to warn sinners of what’s to come in salvation to Christ or those who reject Jesus Christ as Lord, Savior and Messiah.

How about your own personal testimony? Of those who have backslid away from Christ into sins. And when you ignored God our Heavenly Fathers words of warning, rebuke. He then resorted to chastisement and scourging, Meaning to expose your sins publicly to bring you back to your senses and back to Christ. Aren’t these not His ways to shake you awake?

You see, God still speaks in so many different ways today to get all our attention, even through events that we see happening all around the world that the Holy Bible has already revealed thousands of years ago through His prophets of old, even two thousand years ago will happen today and in the future from now. There is nothing that God did not disclose to all humanity on a need to know basis, because He loved us so much!

Hear the word of the Lord Jesus Christ, you who are living in an apostate or a backslid condition, if you persist down the broad way of destruction… If you continue to ignore or run away from His call on your life, He might resort to a scourging that will cause you to only look up. Shaking you awake.

Because Jesus Christ loves you so much, that He’ll do everything in His power to bring you back to Himself, because He is not willing to give you up out of His hands. 

Pslam 23:1-2 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:

So all these signs and events that are happening right now in Revelation 6, are God’s way to shake people awake (the righteous, the backslider and the sinner) unto repentance and be ready for the rapture of the church age beforehand. For all these signs and wonders that we see today points to the rapture! And what we have been seeing in the past 4 years are the workings of the four horsemen:

And the effects of the four horsemen’s work is seen right before our eyes daily right outside our homes, communities and in the media,

So as is pointed out in our past studies and according to the current events in the last four years, that we are in no doubt living the days when Jesus Christ has already judged the church age first (1 Peter 4:17/Revelation 2-3). And now God has already started to judge the world according to Revelation 6. All the signs and wonders have backed up the words of the Holy Bible as a witness… (and as of November 2024) We have seen all around us, observable evidence that we are living Revelation chapter 6 right now…

And the only event true born again Christians are waiting for is the rapture that can happen at any moment. Because all the other signs revealed in the Holy Bible “pointing to” the rapture have already come to pass!

The rapture is when Jesus Christ appears in the clouds suddenly, and every eye shall see Him. And in that moment He will send His angels to gather His elect (those who are saved, right with God and ready). Because when that moment comes, it will happen so fast, there will be no time to repent. Because no one knows the day or hour when He (the bridegroom) shall appear. ARE YOU READY?
