Gaslighting is a form of psychological manipulation & abuse where a person or group makes someone question their sanity, perception of reality, or memories. A person who is on the receiving end of this behavior is experiencing abuse and often feel confused, anxious, and unable to trust themselves. While anyone can experience gaslighting, it is especially common in intimate relationships and in social interactions where there is an imbalance of power.
