I’ve loved football my entire life🏈 . But for me, it’s about more than the actual game. It’s about the players - as people. It’s about being part of a team.
On today’s episode of The Be Ruthless Show, I discuss two off the field examples of what we can all learn from the game of football.
Derek Carr and DeVante Adams survived a white water rafting accident together in their college days. Their friendship off the field has helped them both become the players, and people, they are today.
Dak Prescott has been open about his anxiety and depression ever since he lost his brother to suicide in 2020. Over the weekend, Prescott opened up about his anxiety connected to injury - or re-injury to be more specific.
(Don’t even get me started on his newest injury😳 I guess it’s Go Brady-Go Blue this season, too)
How often do you fight through the pain? Do you stop to think about the risks of injury?
And are you in touch with the people you’ve really been through life with?
