A difficult string of weeks for President Biden saw his approval rating fall to a new low of 38% however after passing a $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill Democrats can expect to see that number bounce back. Now with an infrastructure package locked down, the Democrats are pivoting to pass Biden's social spending bill, yet some argue the President and his party are not focusing on the most important issues. Former Senior Advisor and Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers, Kevin Hassett joins to discuss his new book, "The Drift: Stopping America's Slide To Socialism." Hassett shares anecdotes from his time working closely with President Trump, the circumstances in which America may drift towards socialism, and whether former President is likely to make another White House run in 2024.

The Biden administration's new COVID-19 vaccine mandate is drawing a lot of backlash from businesses and states. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) mandate that will impact 84-million workers, enforces that any workplace with more than 100 employees get fully vaccinated. Those who don't must wear masks and submit to weekly testing. The mandate is slated to go into effect January 4th 2022. Brandon Trosclair, a supermarket owner based in Louisiana, is fighting the OSHA mandate. Trosclair and his lawyer Buck Dougherty from Liberty Justice Center join to explain why they are challenging the Biden administration's employer mandate, why they think it is a federal government overstep and they explain why the think OSHA has no authority in requiring workers to get the coronavirus vaccine.
