Alex created two acclaimed documentaries on this subject (Urban Orishas and Synagogue of Ancestral Commitments) and shares his personal journey as a Russian Jew born in Moscow, raised during the last years of the Soviet Union and his migration to the West, when he discovered spiritual traditions of other cultures and fell in love with Brazil's.
