Continuing in our study of the book of John and the series, Who is Jesus?, Pastor Dustin Clegg walks us through John 8:12-27 and gives us three observations from the text:

1) Jesus has been and will always be the only Hero of the story of every disciple of His. (John 18:10, 15-16)

2) Jesus is everything we are unable to be. (John 18:17-25; 13:37)

3) When we get caught in sin, it is a clear sign we are His or He is pursuing us to be. (John 18:27)

Applications 

1) Stop trying to save or fix ourselves. Jesus has to be the only Hero.

2) Rest and Abide in Him.

3) Be encouraged that His mercies are new every morning.
