Today we continue in the series, Who is Jesus?, and as we look at John 18:1-11 Pastor Dustin Clegg has 3 observations from the text:
1) The death os Jesus should not ultimately inspire courage (because He was not a martyr) or pity (because He was not a victim), but surrender (because He was a voluntary Sovereign Savior).
2) No matter what Jesus does, some people will not get it because they do not want to get it.
3) Some of us are swinging swords at enemies that can only be defeated by surrender to the Sovereign Savior.
Application:
Stop trying to defend Jesus and just open doors for people to come to Him.
