Last month, Bud Light partnered with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney to promote the beer’s brand on social media. The branding move sparked a major backlash from Bud Light drinkers, who largely went on to boycott the drink nationwide. Even with weeks past the initial controversy, Bud Light saw its fifth consecutive week of plummeting sales, bringing dismay to the Anheuser-Busch executives who are brainstorming how their brand can recover. O'Leary Ventures Chairman and investor on ABC’s Shark Tank, Kevin O'Leary, joins the Rundown to talk about how brand partnerships can make or break a company, what steps Bud Light must take to recover from this mishap, and why he thinks America's small banks are on the decline.

The end of Title 42 has brought increased illegal border crossings, and migrants being received by the U.S. are still being bused to sanctuary cities; however, communities in those cities are speaking up about the negative consequences of migrants taking resources from the people who live there. In New York City, migrants are staying at hotels, police stations, and even school gymnasiums, which has caused parents in those communities to protest about the safety and learning impact on their children. Counties near sanctuary cities are suffering too, says New York’s Rockland County Executive Ed Day. He joins the podcast to explain why NYC Mayor Eric Adams and President Biden are being "reckless" in their push to accommodate migrants and how he is fighting for his county's limited resources.
