Just yesterday, celebrity surgeon Munjed Al Muderis had his medical insurance revoked, effectively preventing him practising on osseointegration patients. It’s a move described by those in the industry as ‘rare’ and ‘extreme. 

A series of allegations made by Muderis’ patients - uncovered by the Age and Sydney Morning Herald -  has revealed many feel risks were downplayed and complications ignored.
