Jessica is a clinician, has conducted grant funded research, is an award winning author, and ACT expert who integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for behavioral medicine as well as other behavioral approaches for helping people with health issues, chronic pain, weight loss, stress, and sleep. Most recently, Jessica has been passionate about self-publishing a self-help, low-cost, ebook. Joanne and I didn't come to ACT from a behavioral background so we were keen to learn about Jessica's journey, she shares her introduction to behavioral therapies from graduate school and how her career has evolved integrating ACT into her therapeutic work.
