Jill Stoddard joins us for an in-depth talk about integrating metaphor into experiential practice for behavior change. Jill is the co-author/editor of The Big Book of ACT Metaphors, a highly practical guide that truly informs the reader on how metaphors and experiential exercises in ACT aren't meant to be 'canned' or scripted but instead alive and organic in the moment, based on what the situation affords to train psychological flexibility. Our conversation evolves into an advanced topic, describing our experiences of learning, adapting to ACT to varied clinical situations, and supervising.

The ACT in Context Podcast is co-hosted by Timothy Gordon & Joanne Steinwachs.
