The Amnesty International Podcast is a hosted show featuring recent Amnesty International news stories, reports, campaigns and events. This release includes a short report from the World Congress Against the Death Penalty which took place in Geneva, interviews with Piers Bannister Amnesty International death penalty co-ordinator and Curtis Macarty fromer death row prisioner. Also in the podcast we have a story on the most dangerous place in the world to be a women, Afghanistan. It looks at Womens rights since the fall of the Taliban and has interviews with Horia Mosadiq Amnesty International Afghanistan researcher and Human rights defender Mrs Gulaly Habib. The podcast ends with an interview with Mike Lewis Amnesty International Military Security and Police Specialist. He talks about the recent Amnesty International report 'From Words to Deeds' which looks at the trade of weapons used for tourture.
