World Health Organization reports largest single-day rise in reported coronavirus cases

World Health Organization reports that there were more cases reported in last 24 hours than any time since the coronavirus outbreak begins. All 50 states partially reopen as CDC releases detailed guidance on reporting that had been shelved by the White House. United States death toll tops 93,000. 

Sources say the fate of CDC chief are in question as tensions with White House rise. Trump claims CDC chief is doing a "very good job," but sources say Redfield's fate is in question. The CDC official says the agency is "muzzled" as tensions with White House rise. A health experts says "faith in medicine and science is based on trust" and it's being "undermined" in a rush for progress. The expert also says that companies, governments and researchers are reporting potential "breakthroughs that cannot be verified."  

Trump touts hydroxychloroquine as World Health Organization warns about the side effects of the unproven drug. The World Health Organization also warns that the drug has not been found to be effective to prevent the virus. Trump says he'll stop taking hydroxychloroquine in two days. 

Pence and Florida governor visit busy restaurant without masks. Trump is scheduled to visit Ford facility in Michigan that requires masks tomorrow, but won't commit to wearing one.
