Reflection Questions:

Where do you frequently find yourself striving to manage and control situations, when it would be better to simply be curious and marvel at the mysterious ways of God? [as you reflect on this question, read Isaiah 55:1-9].

What are 3 to 5 ways Jesus of Nazareth has rocked the boat in your life? …Causing you to realize (and perhaps even relish) the fact that you are NOT in control; and causing you to repent of conformity to superficial status-quoism?

Think of 3 examples from your life where you refuse to conform, because to conform would not be Christlike? Be sure to doublecheck your answers and make sure that they align with the emphasis of Jesus in the gospel accounts (e.g. Matthew 9:10-13).

How and when has Jesus put you in a vulnerable position? (see Matthew 10:16 and John 4:29 and Luke 15:32).
