Young and the Restless on CBS sees a potential romantic fling between Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). The two are currently teaming up with Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and making choices that could potentially isolate them from everyone else in Genoa City. Billy's obsession with Chancellor and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is putting his new venture, AbbottCom, at risk. His unpredictability has led Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) to consider withdrawing funding from the company, leaving Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) in a precarious position as she left her fashion career at Marquetti to join Billy on this venture. 

Y&R sees Phyllis is putting her relationships at risk by betting on a career with Cane, despite knowing that helping him would betray her ex-husbands Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Jack. Both Billy and Phyllis are heavily reliant on Cane, making decisions based on hopes and wishes rather than concrete facts. Their mutual desire for something from Cane has led them to team up, and their close working relationship could potentially turn into something more. 

Young and Restless sees there are several signs pointing towards a possible affair or romantic fling between Billy and Phyllis. The question remains whether they will get what they want from Cane and what it will cost them. The potential fallout from their risky decisions could leave them with nobody else to lean on but each other.
