Money is… what? Okay... Tell me honestly, what was you first thought!?  The truth is, every single person is going to have a different answer. Every single person has different thoughts and beliefs about and around money. “Money is hard to make.” “Money is a necessary evil.” “Money is the root of all evil.” “Money is energy.” And then there’s the “I need more money.” “You can never have enough money.” And maybe for a few of you, “Money is easy to make and it comes to me easily!” Whatever the story is, the truth is, you have one… You have a money story.  In this week’s episode of the Epic Success Podcast, I talk about your brain and money - what you think and believe about money, and therefore what happens in your life because of it. Our brain automates all sorts of stories… Including money stories. What you believe about money and what you think about money matters.  I can’t wait to dive into your brain and money so that you can finally start choosing the thoughts in your brain that will bring you the money success you’ve been dreaming of! The biggest take-aways from today’s episode are: The thing blocking you from more income and business growth is in your brain.  Your brain has thousands of neural networks built in your brain. These neural networks are automated after thoughts are repeated over time. Those repeated thoughts and beliefs are there and you might not even realize it. What you believe about money affects your success around it. Lucky for us, we can choose our thoughts and do the work to rewire our brain. [3:20] Everyone has an identity around money.  What are the stories you’re telling yourself (maybe without even realizing it)? Everyone has an identity around money. If you don’t know what yours is, let me ask you these questions: People who have money are… what? People who don’t have money are… what? With money, what’s possible? What do you gain (or lose) when you have money? How you answer these questions about money will help reveal your money stories. [8:35]  Start by separating the money story from the money facts.  Now that you know that you can choose your thoughts and beliefs around money, it’s time to do the work. Start by separating the good money stories from the bad money stories. Decide in advance to choose the thoughts and beliefs you want to think. When you do that, you will start to see the money success in your life that you’ve been craving! [13:10] It’s time to start choosing your money stories!
