What I believe in is what I will be influenced by. My circumstances don't have to change for me to be happy! I can be in a prison, hospice, or a dead-end job and still have the peace of God. Neither my guilt, my fear, nor my pain will tell me what to believe when Christ is my great influencer. In Him I’m safe.
