Summary: The Lord's Prayer has many layers but one of them is that it serves as a guide for the disciples of Jesus to know who they pray to and what they are to pray for. Jesus demonstrates that first and foremost we are to be people who pray that God the Father's name is seen as holy and sanctified by everyone.
