Most of us have been taught to operate in the world based on our mind – our cognitive understanding, logic and reasoning. Most Christians have been taught in the same way, to understand that we are forgiven; that Jesus died for us and that once we accept Him, it is a fact that we are forgiven. Yet the moment we do something that causes guilt and shame, the “fact” of our forgiveness buckles under the feelings of our “sin.” Forgiveness must be EXPERIENCED EMOTIONALLY before it can become our REALITY, because what we know in our mind is an illusion, but what we know in our HEART is REAL. _____________________________________________ Welcome to THE CHURCH IS BROKEN podcast.
