Today's Valentine's Day special focused on MATTERS OF THE HEART.

Falling in "love" is also falling into vulnerability. When two become one, there is a risk of repeating old wounds that can re-injure the heart.

As adults, we still need the same elements we needed during the first few years of life: touch, eye to eye contact, mirroring, and feelings of being cared for and understood on deeper levels.

Unconditional Love, the most healing force on the planet is not always unconditional.

If we don't treat each other with kindness, respect and regard, the bonds that brought us together will not hold up over time.

Love that sustains must be built on foundations that are more than fleeting, and if we don't do the work of putting effort into our relationships, we shouldn't expect them to sustain on their own.

The 5 love languages: words of affirmation, quality time, receiving gifts, acts of service, and physical touch are some of the ways of holding the love bonds together, but without the three C's -- chemistry, character, and communication, love bonds won't sustain over time.

Today we shrunk the tune "If I Fell" by the Beatles, the king of love songs.
