If we fail to realize this, it is because we have not yet renewed our minds. This is an important point; even after being born again, we will need to continually renew our minds for the rest of our lives. Real change comes from learning to think differently from the world, and from religion; bringing our thoughts into compliance with God’s Word causes us to grow and mature spiritually.
