Today's Episode: Let's Talk About...Spirituality in Sexuality {Spiritual Sex - Part II}

Hi Guys, I hope everyone is doing well. I wanted to piggyback on my last episode about Sacred Sexuality and Embodying it for Empowerment.
Ok so, I mentioned in my last episode that sexuality is way more than sex and sexual energy is undeniably powerful. So, what does spirituality have to do with sexuality? Pretty much everything! Sexual energy is undeniably powerful, and when it is honed consciously, it can be an amazing influence on personal healing and spiritual growth. And best believe that your spiritual and energetic bodies govern all things sexual energy. Your lower energy centers govern sexual energy. So, what does that mean? Your sexual expression is controlled by your base (your root) chakra. The root chakra channels the earth's energy upward into the rest of the body’s energy centers, providing the ultimate support vital for our existence. When the root chakra is balanced and healthy, we are instinctive, feel supported, and safe. We feel sensual and affectionate, openly expressing affection to our loved ones. We feel divinity in life in the form of pleasure and passion. If, for some reason, the root chakra energy is blocked or inactive, our sex lives can be unfulfilling and dull, resulting in imbalances in sexual expression.
The second chakra, known as the Sacral Chakra, manages sexual energy as a whole, including arousal and sexual impulse control. In tantric teachings, it is taught that the powerful sexual energy that lives in the sacral chakra is the same as creative energy, making orgasmic energy the best energy for creation and manifestation. The Sacral Chakra also concerns how much joy we bring to our connections and relationships with others. Stress to this Chakra results in us placing defensive boundaries up, blocking the energetic feelings of bliss that contribute to satisfaction and orgasm. In addition, an imbalanced Sacral Chakra can make us very controlling, jealous, and incapable of receiving love.
When our energy centers that rule sexual energy are healthy, we can experience sexuality in its proper erotic and pleasure-filled form. We can use our positive energies to create healthy conditions for our spiritual and physical bodies, to unite with another person, and to take us on a bliss-filled journey of soul expansion. At this point, we aren’t just experiencing sexual energy in our lower bodies; this intense, erotic, and powerful energy is experienced by our whole physical and spiritual being. Balanced chakras allow sexual energy to flow freely into the higher chakras, making available feelings of pleasure in addition to spiritual enlightenment. And for all the women listening to this, an orgasm from the ether realms! Wow, Uh-mazing *fans self*. Anyway, my hope for you, as the listener, is that you’ve learned a bit about how your spiritual self isn’t separate from your sexual self. That being sexual isn’t lesser than being spiritual. They are the same and inhabit and share the same beautiful space God created you in.
